Congrats on the new site. My, you sure get around in that cap…
Well done, Gary, looks great
Gary is an excellent entertainer. Very talented. So funny and will really make you laugh.
What more can you ask for!
I first saw Gary performing in WSI’s The Shipyard Tales in Barrow, probably around 1990, and he still makes me laugh now when he pops up singing and storytelling at festivals, or hawking his entertainment wares around to the delight of us all. If we still had a theatre ship he’d be my number one choice for cabin boy. (Liz Pugh, Walk the Plank)
Great site Gary, good to see you go from strength to strength over the years. Been thinking back to where it all started, the old electric arc theatre that’s now a car park opposite the Olympic chippy then to a garage in the back street of Hartington Street? Or was it a couple of years earlier than that in the Salthouse Mills for King Real and the Hoodlums?
Sure was Gazza. 1983 in a freezing Mill down the docks. It’s been a long time old buddy!!!!
Hi Gary . I have been one of the ushers at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond and have been in the “pit” watching Baron van rentle . You have been a fabulous “baddie” and the kids have loved chucking the snowballs at you ! Next year had better see you back with us or the panto wont be the same . Well done ! x
Thank you Avril. It has been a joy as always. Fingers crossed for next year. Here’s to the last few shows. x x x
Dear Gary It was my pleasure and delight to see the pantomime at the Georgian Theatre in Richmond last Sunday. I had to contact you to say how much my dear granddaughter Daisy, her Daddy and I has such a wonderful time – thank you so much for all the effort, content and energy you and all the cast of the show put in. Well done to you all. I have to tell you that Daisy is still talking about how much she enjoyed it. Hope to see you next year. A very Happy New Year to you and all your family. Hi Gary, Just wanted to send our very sincere thanks to you for being the best pantomime dame ever !
Our family has been coming to the Richmond Georgian Theatre every year to see you (it has always been our Christmas highlight)and our grandchildren have grown up watching you – they’re now 14 and almost 16 years old ! We were at your last performance on Sunday evening and it was brilliant. The Panto really won’t be the same again. Thank you so much – you’re a very hard act to follow. With all good wishes for your future projects.
The Pearson Family – three generations of fans !
Thank you. It was a marvellous evening and a very fine finale.
Thanks for your support and lovely message.
I’m sure the Panto will go from strength to strength and I’ll miss it very much.
